Heater Blower

Featured Replies

Our Fan stopped and we have replaced the resistor and this did not help our problem, i've stripped it down had the fan off and it does work but needs help to start spinning so i'm thinking it needs a new heater blower itself.

the part number on ours is 6Q2820015G but i have managed to source one that's 6Q2820015E is there any difference?

Thanks

Mark.

Hey buddy,

The reason for failure is likely to be that one of the three windings has given up hope. This will allow the fan to operate once started, but it will not have enough magnetic flux in the motor to start.

Does your heater take ages to warm up and isn't really that hot?
