was driving to work this morn and i stalled the car and it wouldnt re start. the motor is turning over but it just refuses to fire up, i have only had the car a week and it does normally seem tontake a bit long than normal to fire up than it should, could this be glow plug prob? this might sound stupid but i have not seen a glow plug light on the dash at all since i had the car could this be related? help much apprieciated

Doubt it's a glow plug issue that's causing the fault.

Tdi's don't need much heat to get them going and you said yourself it had already been running when it stalled and wouldn't restart.

Easy enough to pop one or two out and test them though.

You'll see them visably getting hot if they are working.

Snapped timing belt out of fuel blocked filter loads of things.
