Guys............ im thinking to put oe stereo back in my car but ive took all the changer housing out etc and bloody sold it

will these just pop into the octy??

and whats needed to get the unlock code from skoda?? is it there name and reg? skoda are not being to helpful

Yes, that'll fit in an Octy. I've got a MP3 version in my Octavia that came out of a Superb, went straight in no probs.

As to getting the code depends on how well you get on with your local dealer. I've gotten codes twice now free of charge. I just gave the technican the serial number from the unit and a VIN and few minutes later he got me the code.

So id just need the guys vin thats selling it?

Anybody with a VAG group OBDII handset can tell you the code.

Or maybe the handset might be reading the original stereo's code from the car itself. Guess you won't know till you try.

so either way then if i get it , either the dealers a briskodian could sort it?
