I picked up my V6 today, and in the central storage compartment thing, there is a wire hanging out. is this the mdi without the end connector, or is it something else?

It looks like where the lamp fits. I think the MDI comes from the front of the storage compartment

I don't know the Superb that well, but yes - looks like that should have a lamp on the end of it!

What I do know is that's nothing to do with the MDI - check the glovebox for that

My MDI's in the Center Console (2010 Superb) - at the front - agree, think that's supposed to be a Lamp.

Do any of you have the lamp? All the replys so far, arn't that clear for me

It's a flush-fitting light, looks similar to the boot lights, which illuminates the box when the sidelights are on. It's a push-fit, can't imagine why it would be missing.

It's a 3 month old dealer car, but I can't imagine why it's gone. Thanks to everyone who replyed
