Other 5 x 100 fitments

I'm a little confused here so looking for some surefire answers from some peeps in the know regarding what the traditional 5 x 100 fitment will fit on other brands, and why they might not?

I have a small list of non VAG cars wheels this size will fit:

Toyota: Avensis, Celica - Think Carina too.

Subaru: Forrester, Legacy, Impreza STI,WRX and regular one from 93-97

I remember talk of the centre holes being different sizes which is my league tantrums I'm trying to shift came with insert rings? Are there subtle differences in the size of the hub bit the wheels sit on within the Toyota/Scooby/VAG range? (I reckon Graeme might know about the Toyotas? )

I've been asked a few questions in response to my auction on ebay, and to be honest I'm starting to get a little lost with it all.
