Side light 13 LEDs

Featured Replies

Im on the verge of buying some led side lights, but i want 5000k ones the only led's i can find are 13 x 5050 smd (260 lumens per bulb) Do you think its too much for a side light?

Bet they won't even fit through the side light hole in the headlight.

Got a pic of the led's in question?

I'll be very supprised if they fit, even single LED ones sometimes need to be paired down to fit.

As Fabla pointed out I don't think that they will fit through the sidelight hole after looking at your link

They so long though. Make sure they don't poke the headlight lens also. :giggle:

I got Osram's Halogen cool blue, xenon look. They're pretty bright, think they're 6W.

Should be enough clearance... maybe. Hate blue lights, thats why i want these, 5000k should be pure white. Ive got nightbreakers and xtremes you see!

I had these.... They lasted about 3 months, then started flickering and then a bank died at a time lol

Waste of money IMHO

Not good, LED's are so hit and miss, bit annoying really... :wall:

I bought a pair from Ebay USA that has 5 LEDs - on a kind of cube setup, so 1 facing forward, 4 on each side. Work well and have been reliable as well.

This is just sidelights. :)

I have canbus friendly 8 led sidelights. I think 13 led's is just a bit unneccessary, you can get 8 led ones for about £8 off Ebay rather than £20 for the ones you are looking at.

These are the ones. Fitted for 8 months with no problem.

Or these for under £6!

They in't blue, that's the thing about them, they're bright white. I got the same setup as you with the osram nightbreakers and Philips extreme.
