Wheel Refurbishment - East Midlands

Featured Replies

Following a twelve hour night shift one morning last week, I managed to let my concentration slip on the way home and clipped a kerb, scuffing a wheel in the process. I had heard about a mobile refurb service in my area and found the number and gave them a call. The proprietor, Paul, called rond the following morning to give me a price, to which I agreed and came back last Friday to complete the job.

I have been sceptical about mobile refurbs, having had a seriously bad service from one before, but I must give credit where it is due and say that he did a great job at a competitive price.

Here is a link to Paul's website;

I feel that I must add that I hadn't met Paul before he came to my home to give me a quote, I am not related to him and he is not a friend of a friend, simply someone whose services I have used and am very pleased with.

The link works for me but his mobile number is 07879 335141

He can also be contacted by e mail at; [email protected]

As far as I can gather he prices his work depending on the diameter of the rims and amount of preparation needed to repair any kerb damage etc., but typically between £40 - £70 per wheel. He does say on his website that a discount is offered for more than one wheel, too.

I had the wheels of my Z3 powder coated locally but it took a week to complete and the finish of the wheel Paul repaired on my daily driver is every bit as good.
