Ive spotted a few cars in the vag range with nice crisp white saftey lights in the door. Ive got plenty of bulbs to change them with but, the main problem is the red reflector plastic. Were could I get just clear plastic to pop over instead. Ive seen a kit on ebay and a kit on super skoda but there £30+ which seems rather expensive.

Red lights in the doors are exact same unit as in the boot on the Fabia as well as the mk4 Golf.. They're a direct switch. Just pop the black cover off the back of red and onto the back of the clear.

AntVrs did the 1st actual swap around that I'd seen at a meet.. I took my boot one and slapped it in the drivers door whilst re sealing the carrier.. liked it lots, so popped up to the local breakers and got 2 more out of mk4 golf boots.. £3, bosh!

If ya fancy some led whitish style glow, then slap some led bulbs in there.

Plus what would be the best style 501 bulb to pop in to get a nice bright light. The one problem ive found with l.e.d 501 bulbs is you get a kinda half lit effect because of cause the base doesnt light up unlike the normal bulbs
