Hi Guy's & Girl's my names Nigel im from Gloucester and just checking the site out as im currently looking at Octavia vrs tdi so thought i would join up and see the pros and cons as you do .

I currently drive a Vauxhall Astra sri 2.0 turbo 200 love the car to bits tbh but with having a family now and needing to go down to one vehicle derv power it is.

Anything i should look for when looking around the octavias if you could point them out wouldbe great

Hope you do plenty of miles to make the diesel worth the extra cost of fuel, specially as there will be a couple of fuel duty rises early next year.

Are you sure diesel is the way to go for you? With a growing family an estate is a must though - I've going from an Octavia estate to Superb estate
