Maxi-Dot Navi Units

Featured Replies

I've just noticed that when on the navigation mode on the multi-function display, it displays the speed in KPH. Is there a way to change it to MPH, or is it just like that? I have had a look in the setup menu, but i cant see anything obvious

Cheers

Josh

hi in a word no i think its to do with the law you have to have mph and kph in this country.

sorry i'm not very good at describing. I dont want to totally disable KPH, just change it to show MPH. On the display between the speedo and rev counter, you can choose a navigation screen that shows you directions and the speed. It is currently showing in KPH, but i want it to display in MPH.

Cheers

Or a more accurate word would be YES it is possible ,,, but you need someone with VCDS to make the changes.

Providing you have maxidot then it can be switch between the large MPH digital display and the small KPH display in a few seconds.

Just noticed yours is a petrol, you can also have the set speed of the cruise control displayed as well (this only works on petrol engined cars emoticon-0106-crying.gif )

Find yourself someone local with VCDS (or I will be in Stafford on the 26th Nov.) as you can make lots of improved changes with VCDS

Tbh, I'm not too bothered about it. I just wondered if it could be changed.

Oooh, got any linkies for this one? I liked that in a Tiguan I had as a loan car once, although it did display the VW massivley optimistic speed and not the actual speed.

Unfortunately not (there was a thread on the Superb forum that was closed recently about it) but it is under: 17 - Instruments (in VCDS)
