Well I think the first elder scrolls has to be one of my favourites. Now skyrim is out tommorow I'm going to wait for a bit untill I've calmed down on cod multiplayer, but very very excited about this, the dragons look astonishing, any one else getting this, going for a pc purchase for this, hoping my ati radeon 6770 hd card can handle it!

Played it for a few hours a bit glitchy, giants are a bit of a problem, but it's awesome!

Been playing this for a week now and love it. Normally not a fan of melee style RPG games, but this just rocks. Once you level up and get weapons like the ebony bow from a drag deathlord, and the burning sword to go with it, you become the all powerful bad ass in Skyrim. Ony had two CTD in 100 hours of play time.

The night sky with two moons looks awesome.

The first patch is out soon as well!

The first patch is out soon as well!

That's why I'm not a great fan of the Steam System. Patches get applied automatically, and if my game isn't broken, I would rather avoid patches that often fix issues for some users, and create issues for others.

I really like this game, it has massive atmosphere, and most of the discovered locations are huge. Seems to be loads of side quests as well.

My game had it's moments of just bring unstable more than anything, a few flying horses, and very powerful giant clubs, but apart from that every thing is brill, barley touched the main campaign, done the imperial army quests, done the companions quests, going through the dark brother hood quests at the mo, I've gone for heavy armour, one handed weaponry, decent smithing and a few points spent on the bow and arrow, never really use magic (apart from heal!)

I'm mainly doing sneak archery. Glass Armour, Ebony Bow and Sword, with frost damage perk added to them. I just did the main story line as a member of Winterhold, but am now with the Companions, and a house in, er I forget the name of the town, This game is seriously messing with my sleep patterns...

I went freelance right from the get go. Didn't join the Legion or Strom-cloak rebellion, as both leaders seemed to have serious attitude problems. 220 locations discovered and counting. Great game, in fact, best game I have ever played.

Both my sons have it on Xbox 360, i want it for my laptop but have to wait for xmas :( too skint to buy myself have to wait for kids to buy it for me :(

This game is HUGE. 331 locations discovered. I love the way they have done the cave systems. Some are just a small cavern with some loot. Others lead into massive underground cities built by the Dwemers. Best RPG ever IMHO.

+1 moggy I love how they have made the smithing easy to use and not over complicated, makes it fun! I still have not done another main quest mission, going through the dark brotherhood quests at the mo!

  • 2 weeks later...

Bought this game last Tuesday. . I own Morrowind, and Oblivion and loved both of them. . but Skyrim really takes the Trophy!

A tip for smithing is to turn up the difficulty to Master then do the smithing, but don't forget to turn it back down when you come to face a dragon!

It's safe to say I was blasted into oblivion! (pun intended) :)
