How many miles to a full tank do you get?

Featured Replies

Filled up with diesel after work on Friday afternoon. On Sunday evening, after 722 miles, the fuel light came on. So I stuck in another £20 to tide me over.

Indicated 68.3mpg

That must have been a long down hill drive! :)

What engine do you have and have you done anything to improve mpg?

1.9 pd (130) and all I've done is keep filters etc clean, and an eye on tyre pressures. No remap or anything like that. Oh, and in the 4 years ish I've had it, I've educated my right foot. ;)

It was mostly motorway/ A road cruising, down to Bedford and back again. Twice. However there was some detouring involved as I navigated my way round a jam on the M1 on Friday evening, and on Sunday I stopped off in Cambs to see modra_vrs.

280-320, depending on luck of traffic.

Normally I get 320 miles per tank with mixed driving and running on Shell V power. However after painting the chrome grill in body colour this has dropped to 319 per tank so I can only presume that the chrome is more slippery than Black Magic paint !
