diamond brighted the car today

Featured Replies

I've never been a fan of supaguard but i got special discount on a diamond bright coating for my fabia and so i thought why the hell not :D

after a few hours and a couple of cups of coffee later, what can i say? WOW it looked amazing. They even cleaned the kids paw prints off the windows and hoovered the carpets for me

ive never seen a white car look so white, even the alloys shone, you can see my block paving reflecting it them

only trouble now is trying to keep the car as clean but with this coating im sure itll be a bit easier and if it only lasts the winter its money well spent

Im not sure id pay dealers price for such things as i can polish the bugger myself but Elite Clean did an excellent job and a lot cheaper too

even the dog can be seen in this one :D

i can even see myself in the light fitting

so a big THANKYOU to the guys at Elite and for anyone in and around the Carlisle area i can highly recommend this service and hopefully itll keep it looking shiny and make it easier to clean for some time

by the way for you photo experts out there, these pics were taken from my phone

Looks awesome. How long and how much? :p

Don't think my car will ever go back to looking so clean after 18k miles :S

it took about 2 and half hours, i managed to have a cup of coffee (only one though :( Windy your a lazy a$) and a battered sausage and chips from the local chinese while i waited

cost, well its best not to say as it was a favour but like everything in life the price is always negotiable. i never once looked at their price chart so i cant say what full price would be so if you ever fancy anything like this its best to ring around as most places offer price matching/beating anyways and then just go for one you know a mates used/reputation etc

i traveled 30 miles to get this done as id seen their work and was impressed enough to ask about mine

i just hope i helps through the winter

to be honest THIS is how a car should come from the dealers but it just shows the lack of preparation they do on your new car unless your willing to pay extra, wrong imho

That looks so clean!!! Nice job done!

Very nice looks so clean they did a very good job

We had a similar coating put on our red Monte from new as I was worried about swirling on a non metallic colour. Have to say after 2k miles and 4 or 5 cleans it's still looking awesome, certainly doesn't require polishing. It'll be interesting to see how long it lasts as it's supposed to be a lifetime guarantee. Have to admit I'm sceptical but we'll see.

Photo expert here...

Yep, the phones auto exposure has measured for the white car and thus has underexposed the shot, should have dialed in around 2/3 of a stop of compensation. B)

But seriously looks a good job.

Cheers

These finishes will NOT last for the lifetime of the vehicle I'm afraid, and are a dealer rip-off at the price charged. You will eventually need to re-apply a top coat sealant which will last again for a few months. I use TW Platinum at the moment which superseded TW Gloss Guard. It is easy to apply (looks like water), no residue, no swirls, nothing but an excellent deep shine. It is best to use a shampoo without wax before you apply it though.

I agree on the price. Do not pay full whack! Dealers will generally offer these products as an incentive at half price or less when you buy new. I would not have paid £300 for this, which seems about average
