Hi. I went through autoebid and this is what I got - petrol octavia VRS DSG in race blue with front and rear parking sensors, curtain air bags, space saver tyre and auto dimming mirrors for £18290. Local dealer quoted 19617 and wouldn't budge!

You do get 0% APR and 0% VAT if you factory order, you can't and never could get 0% APR on vRS though, only Elegance and L&K. But all Octavias both stock and factory order have VAT free with the exception of the 4x4 models and the Scout models.

Thanks James. I really someone at SUK would get ALL the dealers on board with the same tale. I shall be filling in my customer satisfaction survey this afternoon and it won't make good reading for them, despite the good will gesture from the dealer I got due to the fork up by someone there. Without going into detail, we were presented with a bill for a car that we'd agreed was going to be on 0% and luckily we had the funds, otherwise I'd still have my old vRS and the dealer a new car, wondering what to do with it...
