Spec changes after ordering

Featured Replies

After five months, ordered first week of July, if any upgrades are introduced in the model life, will they be incorporated in the build, or do you get the spec at time of order?

We keep forgetting what a SM looks like and go in every month to feel a new one in the showroom. Our local dealer seems to have a poor reputation on this forum, we certainly can't pin them down as to anything more than "hopefully before Christmas".

You get the spec level when it's built in the factory.

But the changes only usually come in once a year, around May/June. So yours should be as ordered.

If you ordered in July it's a MY12 brochure, and will still be MY12 when built.

Components can be updated at any time of the year and will be fitted at the factory from the date of introduction. This can be as simple as a software update to an new design of engine.

Some of the early updates can be found in this thread;

The model year changes at the beginning of June (WK22) with major mid life mods arriving in November (WK45).
