Roomster headlights

Featured Replies

I know this will probably seem a stupid question, but here goes...

Is it relatively easy to change headlight bulbs on my Roomster 1.4 TDI (2007). And hoW do I determine which bulb I need? The manual gives a choice of H4 or H7 (Reflector or Module), but I'm not sure which are fitted.

Thanks for any tips! Dave.

Hi, have checked the parts listing and it says H7 for 1.4tdi

Thanks Tony - that's a great help.

Where is the 'parts listing'?

Dave.

Hi Dave,

Parts listing is on a cd called EKTA-7, e bay

H7 on my 1.4 TDi too.

As far as changing them is concerned it's just a matter of removing the rubber cover, release the wire clip, unplug wiring and remove old lamp.

Replace with new (don't touch the glass with bare fingers)and refit clip and cover. (sidelights are a little bit more "challenging")

If you are changing lamps in an effort to upgrade the admittedly poor light output of the standard unit then do a search on here as there are loads of threads with all the info you could need. One of ours is running Osrams and t'other car is on Phillips - no discernible difference between the two that we can notice.

Good luck.
