Would I be able to put this plate on my car?

Featured Replies

I have an 03 plate fabia and I am looking to buy a plate that says JA53NNN, would this be aloud by the DVLA because it's making out that the car is newer than it actually is? I don't know how it works cheers :)

You cant put a plate with a newer registration on your car, only the year car was registered or older.

Exactly.

They did make the Zafira on an 11 plate.

Or the plate could have been messed with, like a H with a white stud to make 11.

Close to my old one

I ran JA53 VRS on an 04 and 05 reg vrs

Okay well I saw a mk4 gold today with 11 on :/ I don't get how it works

What about P3 N15? :D

don't you mean PEN 1S

You might have seen a Mk4 Golf with 11 on. You didn't see an 11 reg Mk4 Golf.

I suggest you have a little read up on different formats of numberplate if you're interested, or if you're not interested then just take the short answer of this thread - "No, you can't put that plate on your current car". End of thread, whatever you saw/thought you saw is irrelevant :)

I see loads of cars/vans that look like they are a 51 plate, 11 plate etc etc but they are just Y151 ASG or whatever.
