Bluetooth compatability

Featured Replies

Hi Folks

I have a 2011 superb elegance with a columbus unit fitted.

The bluetooth works perfectly with my HTC Desire.

My problem is I now need to change my phone.

Does anybody know if the unit will work with the "samsung galaxy S 2"

Any advise would be appreciated.

Yes it does, and the iphone 4

a 2011 "should" work with Any Bluetooth phone.

If it helps, I can confirm that Samsung Galaxy Mk1 works just fine with Columbus bluetooth.

When I click on the link for a 2009 July registered vehicle is it empty

Forget the list...

If it was made in early 2010 or before, you need rSAP on your phone. Limited to a few models - It was a nokia Protocol, but even these have stopped adding it to their phones. The iPhone (any of them) wont work. Some Androids will, the Galaxy S1 and S2 both will. Some BlackBerries had it, but it's not great on them - i had one, got it connected a handfull of times only.

If it's late 2010, ie a 2011 model, it has both HFP (will work with ANY bluetooth mobile) and rSAP

If it's rSAP only, like mine was, then see this link on how to change the module, and which one to buy.
