i ordered my yeti in july how much longer to wait heard nothing yet

The way they are going at present another 2-3 months before delivery. I ordered May, car delivered end of November.

Oh Macdemon where are you?! Did you realise your wife also bought a Yeti?! Hehehe

Sorry Kitten. Macdemon calls SWMBO Kitten so for a moment I thought... Hehehe

Get your order number from your dealer. Then you can phone Å koda UK direct to ask about progress. They are far easier to deal with than your dealer.

I just got updates from my dealer but I guess it depends on how helpful they are. Whatever, it's worth asking either them or Skoda UK for an update on the build date and whether that date is confirmed or not.

From other posts there doesn't seem to be any consistent factors as to why some people have to wait longer than others except that petrol quicker than diesel and 170s seem to take the longest.

I found this forum by searching for waiting time on the Yeti and reads lots of different times but some were quite a while back and probably not relevant to me. Not sure if it would be worth someone setting up a poll and say asking those who got their car in the last 3 months how many months they had to wait.

Welcome to the forum Kitten

I ordered mine (see signature for spec) in mid-August and have a built date of 12 December from my dealer. Not expecting to see it until next year.

Not expecting to see it until next year.

Small consolation it then becomes a 2012 model.

I've ordered a similar spec 5 weeks ago and was advised that it should be with the dealer in week 2.

As they seem to run batches of similar spec through together it would seem about right.

I also ordered in July and have an estimated Build Week 3, which would suggest delivery to dealer mid-February, assuming no further delays.

Ordered May 22nd, unconfirmed build date week beginning 5th Dec, delivery "early Jan" Unconfirmed build week now moved to week 50, (12th Dec),

Allegedly being built this week but check out the signature below!!!!

Kitten, it depends which one you ordered.

Apparently (according to my dealer) petrols take about 4-5 months and diesels take 6-7, unless you get lucky. The odd one turns up early.

I too ordered my Yeti in July, and I have been told it will start in production the first week in January. I only hope that all the production team have had a good Christmas. ;)

Perhaps you should hope they don't have too good a Christmas.

Is there a change of status when the car is confirmed as built?

Ordered a Yeti Greenline Elegance 3 weeks ago.

Initial build date week 11

Just been told updated to week 1

Plenty of time for it to go back again though :'(

i ordered a yeti greenline elegance on 4th Nov. Initially informed by dealer that it would be 6-7 months.

just been told that they have a confirmed week 50 build slot and i should get car late january......hopefully.

even dealer said too good to be true!

I've also got a Yeti Greenline Elegancy on order through my works lease company. Ordered firt week of December

Estimated stock date is 24/02/2012.

I think someone has grabbed yours and is trying to sell it ...

My 170 Elegance, with sunroof, Annapurnas, heated screen, spare wheel etc was ordered in May, due to be built in January and picked up by me on 1 March!

It's been a long time .... and still a while to go.

Nearly, but missing TPM, Electric seat and mirror pack. I cannot take delivery till March 08th as that's when my current lease vehicle ends.

Have to say that's quite good - I placed an order (through the Work Leasing Company) at the start of October and had an original ETA of 12/04/12 but then became 29/01/12 and now back to March 2012 (I have given up remembering the date - doesn't seem to be any point!)...

What colour / interior / options did you go for - mine's Regency Green with Gobi Sand Interior and no options...

Just to add to the confusion - I ordered mine in Feb, promised deliveries in Sep, Nov and then late Feb (that was in Oct). Took a phone call last Monday - It's here!!!!! Now running around trying to sort out the finance bit before it can be delivered. Confused or what? Black 140 Elegance DSG.
