I've had my Octavia vRS for nearly 3 months now and was originally getting roughly 400miles out of a tank but recently this seems to have dropped by at least 30 - 50 miles on a tanks of fuel.

Does the outside temperature affect fuel usage? as this is the only factor that I can think of that has changed over the past few weeks. I am actually driving the car slower as well recently although I would have thought this should save fuel.

I still have a few weeks left on my warranty from the dealer so I am just asking on here first to see what people think before I take it to get checked out.

yeah the outside temp can effect mpg as the car with add more fuel on cold starts to warm the engine up

Ive never managed 400 miles out of a tank, you must drive it really steady

I can do allmost 600 miles with my 1.8T non-RS
