Hi!

I joined Briskoda a year or two back and have browsed happily but never posted until now. My wonderful, stationary Red vRS Mk1(02 plate/120k faultless miles) has just been front-ended by a careless, spinning Vauxhall Astra and may be a write off. That explains the SAD bit as until that moment I want it back on the road as its Jabbasport modified engine (237 bhp) and stainless steel exhaust are in such good condition that it's too good to let go. BUT: it needs new front end parts - bonnet, grille, aircon heat exchanger, plastic bits, complete front bumper/airdam, trims, badge and possibly a nearside inner wing. It drives, still perfectly well. If I can't get the bits, I'll have to settle for something less and be really sad. Anyone able to help point me in the right direction for parts either new or 'green'?

Could you not buy another mk1 vRS and transfer over the goodies?

Sorry to hear about your misfortunes.

Gutting - sounds like a car that deserves to be back on the road :(

That's what I was thinking, maybe a salvage auction car that's been rear ended.

Would give you all the front end parts you need. :)

Thanks for the suggestions, guys. I'm currently searching breakers for decent quality parts and maybe add a mod or two at the same time!
