Has anyone tried this re-map ?Or a re-map from tis particular company ????

I would love to get shark re-map after all the reviews here.. but its somehow just not working out ! So this is the best option and basically the only viable option available to me !

Any opinions ( good or bad ) welcome >> I want to be absolutely sure if my money is being put on the right stuff !!

THANKS

So you want that done by their dealer in Mumbai? Your ECU might or might not be locked, so have a word with them can they unlock your ECU first, as only the bluefin device will not work on locked ECU.

anyone tried these guys in remapping? even i m interested in getting it done on my 1.8tsi..

Thanks..

Not had one recently but my octy 1.8T had one and it was woeful!!!...caused no end of trouble!! Id go with a company that has a lot of clients on here :)

K:)

Bluefin used to be good a few years ago, but have fallen down recently whith all ECU remaps and a little smarter approach to tunning nowadays.

I used Shark and Revo and both are top notch.

Ya.. they have an official dealer in Mumbai, he has offered me to check whether my ECU needs to be bench mapped or can be done directly from the obd2 port.. Then I can decide whether I want to or not .. go ahead with the map !

Since mine is an '09 i'm hoping that my ECU is not locked ...

I would love to get a Shark re-map.... especially after all the reviews here !

But I have been trying to get in touch with them since a very long time have sent also couple of emails but NO answer. Also the STS unit (from previous threads) costs about gbp 455( seeing the reputation it might have gone up also) and since they have no dealers or anyone in India getting it here will cost me loads in shipping and custom duty..

So the only viable & reputable option that I have is super chips .... and its about gbp 430 all inclusive.

Really? I'm pretty sure I remember personally speaking to someone with a 1.8TSI in India which I think might be you, so I'm not sure why you never had an answer. We deal with customers in India on a regular basis and never had a problem with communication.
