Yorkshire Meet - 15th January

The November meet went down an absolute treat, excellent turn out and a very good range of cars. Was a very good afternoon.

Seeing as the 3rd sunday of December is so close to xmas it seemed the most popular option to skip December and get January sorted.

Anyone is welcome, VAG or not. Hope we can get as many if not more cars down!

I'll be there as it couldn't be any closer to home.

I may give my own 'flying banana' a trip there instead of the wife's Yeti.

Mine won;t look so good as it has it's 15" steelies and winter tyres on. Looks truly horren dous with it's £9.99 Lidl wheel trims.

Winter tyres are 185/55R15 Nankang SV-2 Snow on steel wheel from Mytyres delivered in August for 2/3's the price they are now. Not too bad so far. Certainly not Toyo Proxes grip but that wouldn't be expected.

I haven't been to a meet there before, so i dont know first hand but ive been told its a good spot.

Reason its there is because we got in trouble at Showcase in leeds by the old bill because someone was being a bit silly. Heard of a few meets at xscape with no problems from police.

Last month we had 40+ cars and i cant think of a pub with a big enough car park!

I will hopefully make this one.

I think the venue is ok. Big car park, there are places to eat near by and there's even shopping to keep the other half's happy.

I will probably have some sort of diagnostics with me if anyone is interested although not full VCDS but I use VDS Pro (so could sort remote windows out for earlier year cars that can't be done with VCDS).
