Older model Skoda history?

Featured Replies

In reverse order we have had

New Octy

Superb

Furby

Octy

Felicia

Favorit

Various estelles , rapids and numbered cars

And then before that I know there was an older Octy and Superb.

Can anyone put any dates on when the models appeared and clarify what came before the Favorit?

Ah , thanks

  • 2 months later...

The numbered skodas include:-

MB1000 (first rear engine car)

S100 (4 door rear engined salloon precursor to estelle and rapid)

S110 (larger capacity version of above)

S110r (coupe version)

130rs (racing coupe version)

All the above cars used the ohv engine, the same basic engine that went all the way from the old octavias, up until its final guise as the 1.4 8valve in the fabia, as well as various other VW family cars. An amazing engine, so long in manufacture, and winning in motorsport at both ends of its career!

There was also an old skoda Tudor, not sure when that was made though, would guess 1930's era

Thought they made bikes or was that Mr L and Mr K.Will go and read history again
