Evening all, been lurking on here for a little while and decided to take the plunge.

I drive a Y Reg Skoda Fabia 1.4 Classic and, TBH it's my first car and I only bought it at the time becuase it was cheap and the insurance was cheaper than anything else I looked at. Wheels are scratched to buggery - there when I bought it, and it has wind up windows! It's just had a service at 62,000 miles at my Uncle's garage and he reckons it's lovely.

I'm now in my second year of ownership with the beast and enjoying it. I'm not a massive car person - more into my bikes - but I'm hoping to upgrade to a Fabia MkI VRS sometime in the not too distant future.

Also, just to add - I've not found anything that I can't fit in with the rear seats down, it just seems to swallow owt!

Go for a vRS... you won't regret having that engine and the extra power coming from a small petrol is very addictive!

I do enjoy my little petrol, something I can just tinker around with and it's fun!

Not too fussed about the lack of power really, it's just a bit of fun and bombproof
