Skoda Felicia Immobiliser By-Pass

Featured Replies

Hi, does anyone have any experience of, or know how to by-pass or immobilise the immobiliser on a Skoda Felicia (P-Reg, 1.2 Petrol)???

The car only has another year or two left in it, sadly. I want to keep it running but would like to avoid taking it to a garage to get it sorted if poss.

The current state of play is as follows: the engine cuts out after approx 3 seconds. Fuel filter has been changed, relays checked & fuel pump checked. All working fine..we reckon that the only thing it could be is the immobiliser.

Any views, experience and expertise is greatly appreciated! Cheers.

We do not advertise immob bypasses on here due to blatantly obvious reasons. It will also be a 1.3.

get the fault codes read from the immo unit, it's probably only something really simple like a loose connection or maybe the inductive reader on the steering column is duff... Nobody on this forum will tell you how to defeat an immobiliser unit I'm afraid..

and its pretty much impossible to on the mpi ecu anyway (well costs more then most of the cars are worth anyway)

have you tried a spare key?

The Felicia i have recently purchased has a similar fault, the key that starts it isnt the one matched to the transponder,so i need to hold the other key close until it starts, then it failed to go completely, turned out the ring on the ignition barrel had moved somehow, slid it back up towards the ignition key entry and all was well. Someone has obviously changed the barrel at some point and not had the key coded(on mine not yours), worth taking the cowling off and having a feel about, you'll see the wire that goes from immobiliser to transponder ring, its black and houses about 4 wires.

Take the transponder capsule out of the one key and fit it into the key that works in the lock, problem solved...

I did open the keys to do that, but all i could find inside was the wee light connections?............where is the TC, and what does it lok like?

I think it's a little glass capsule, inside the key.

hi there its a little black chip
