NEED Fabia vRS!!!!

Featured Replies

Hello all you lucky vRS Furby and Octavia owners,

I'm a 24 year old fella who has decided to spend my savings on a decent car as I'm sick of getting beaten off the lights by Daewoo Matiz's!

How much is reasonable to spend on a 2003/4 Furby vRS with 20-30k on the clock? What about an Octavia of the same ilk?

Cheers,

Depressed Corsa driver :(

Welcome :wavey:

You may get an older Octy vRS, for the price of a Furby.

It depends on how much you want to spend, and whicj you really want ?

A 12 month old Furby, you 're looking over

Welcome :)

So you're the chap on irc earlier ;)

Unless you get a fabia with highish miles, it's going to be around the 10k mark.

As Steve says, you could get yourself a nice 2nd hand octy for that price. Depends if you want to go petrol or diesel.

Pros and cons both ways. If you want cheap insurance, running costs and don't need the space, then go for the fabia. If you need best bang for buck, it'd have to be the octy, providing the running costs don't cripple you.

But either way, you're definately looking in the right direction :D

Cheapest Octavia RS ive seen was for 5K in Autotrader had about 90k iirc

loads around the 6-9 K though.

Steve

If you're thinking of an Octavia vRS you need to check the insurance situation first.

Fabia vRS - group 9

Octavia vRS - group 16

Hello and Welcome:D

Buy my Octavia!!!!

True, but if he pays half the price for an Octavia then that will more than make up for the difference in insurance.
