MDI interface and Android Phones

Featured Replies

Hello,

I'm trying to get my Samsung Galaxy S2 to work on the Ocatvia's MDI conection. It doesnt allow me to control the music throught the head unit, wondering if anyone has had experiece with Android phones.

Dan.

if your phone appears as a mass storage device in windows then you may have some luck getting it to work with the USB MDI cable, in that way you can plug your phones USB cable into the MDI.

I have a Motorola Defy (Android 2.2) and it is detected by Windows as a mass storage device. But when I connect it with the MDI connector of my new Fabia, I get the error message "MDI NOT FUNCTIONAL". For my mobile phone it's a valid USB connection since it's charged and it provides access to its memory card. What's wrong here and what can I do to get it working ?
