Central locking from inside

Featured Replies

Hey 1st post and yup its a problematic one

OK the locking buttons down by the handbrake dont seem to do anything.

have went through the convience options on the MFD and enabled the auto lock and unlock. now when i go above 10mph the lock button turns yellow to tell me the doors are locked however when i stop and press the unlock button - when im picking people up it doesnt unlock the car i have to stop the engine to unlock.

ok i thought it was because i had enabled options to reset it back to factory and still nothing they dont lock or unlock.

anyone have any ideas ? a bit of a pain having to kill the engine to let people get in

cheers

Paul

Sounds like the button isn't working to me. I don't need to stop the engine to open the doors in mine

I do have to stop the engine for the doors to unlock in mine, but if I press the button with the engine still running the doors unlock.

Mine is a Mk2 2008 plate, if that helps.
