Front Mudflaps

Featured Replies

Anyone able to explain the discrepancy between prices for front mudguards, £85.80 and rear, £20.87. (Both prices found on Dennis Horton site) :wonder: Are they a worthwhile investment for a largely urban but frequent motorway driver?

The £85.50 will either be a typo, or it includes the fitting cost. The £20.87 was for rear mudflaps as far as I could see on that site.

They're only £21 for each each end on the Allams spares web site (and you can get 10% off). They're a doddle to fit.

I think the front mudflaps can be a good idea, given the stonechip issues which people have experienced in the past. The foils around the rear wheel arch do help to protect it when something does hit but the flaps should reduce the risk of stuff being thrown up that far in the first place. For the money, it's not a hard decision IMO.

I bought my mudflaps of Ebay, £22.00 a pair with free delivery and fitted them myself (took 45 minutes). That saved me over £100 on what the dealer wanted to supply and fit.

yep got my from sparshatts skoda botley at £41.20 i think for all four front and rear fitted them myself

Ah indeed. Ok strike my comment above. They DO work.

My dealer supplied and fitted four mudflaps for £42 including VAT. And was no doubt still turning enough profit to make it worthwhile.
