was wonding if any one can help me i am wanting to put PAS on my 1.3 mpi i have got all the parts off a 1.6mpi are the pipes pump the same as a 1.3 or do i need diffrent parts

was going to put 1.6 in car in new year but fort i would start by putting the parts i have on ready all ready got the rad and air con rad in there

Dunno about the parts you mention, but did you get the column out too? They are different.

hi there yes i have the column forgot to say that bit i had a whole car one point was a SLXi now all i have is parts lol if you know what i mean

The pump is totally different so you need one from a 1.6.. The pump from a petrol polo of the same vintage (6n models) will be the same..

The power steering pipes are different yes, but you will be able to get away with using 2 of them if you are brutal with them.. But you will need the high pressure pipe that goes from the pump to the rack from a 1.6 because it has a different fitting size banjo fitting on the pump.
