only in the morning on a cold start the first couple of junctions I get a small squeek/squeel when pulling away, no juddering, after that it is not there for the rest of the day..until the next cold start the following morning

I will mention it when I go in..but does it sound expensive..and would it be covered by warranty at this stage?!

It may still be covered by the 3-year warranty. Let the dealer know about it (perhaps in writing?).

That way you can, quite rightly, pass on some of the liability for a later expensive repair if it is a component showing early signs of failure that they should have been able to diagnose and fix when you (evidently) brought it to their attention.
