my Fattery has gone Batt :(

Featured Replies

So after 19 months, our garaged Superb has failed to start this morning after sitting since Saturday Night... not really impressed, but, the dealer has got it booked in for tomorrow morning, where he will do a "check" on his £2000 machine, to see if it's dead as a do'do.

If it is, he'll replace it with a new one under warranty - cant say fairer than that!

That's a fair deal I would say, strange that the battery has potentially died after 19 months - what sort of mileage do you do?

Around 22,500 miles on it now, mostly 20+ mile drives (It did over 300 last wednesday to Edinburgh and back to the North East!) no 1 mile shopping trips etc...

Disappointed in the battery, but happy with the dealers response.

Probably just one of those things. A duff battery that they are hopeully going to replace FOC.
