We have a Superb wagon diesel. I find the filling up with fuel a bit tricky. The rubber insert inside the petrol tanks forces one to correctly orient the fuel pump. Even so I find there is sufficient back pressure to make filling the car a chore. We had a Holden Calibra years ago and similar problems but we removed the plastic insert.

Have any skoda owners removed the rubber filler insert ?
