Featured Replies

I think I saw, on another forum (can't remember where...), that ordinary bathroom silicone sealant is good. Just apply a generous bead to the back of the plate and offer it up.

Go to the desk in Halfords where they make up plates and ask for the sticky strips specifically designed for holding plates on...

I used them sticky things put 5 on each plate just to be safe cleaned the surface with meths so it was squeaky clean two days later two of the ends had come away and it aint even really warm yet. i got screws in now to be safe.

Which website and where?

I can't find anything on the DVLA site that says you can't use tape.

Interested because I'm surprised that this would be over looked given the recent tighening up of the number plate laws.

...you forgot to say.... for about a day until they fall off and you lose them and then get pulled for having no number plate on..
