Rear Wiper & reversing lights on my VRS

Featured Replies

For a couple of weeks now the rear wiper works but somewhat randomly. If I spray screenwash on the rear window the wiper rarely comes on & If i fick the stalk back & forth it rarely works either. Then randomly it will just start working.

Any thoughts on this?

Car was bought new in September this year & has done just over 1200 miles

Also a colleague at work commented that I had only 1 reversing light coming on when i was in that gear is this & the above something to get looked at under warranty?

I take it the car can go to any dealer for warranty work as the dealer i bought from is a few hundred miles away?

The wiper sounds like somethings broken for sure

I think the VRS only has one reversing light anyway off the top of my head.

Thanks, thought it might only have 1 reversing light but wasn't sure

what he said, and deffo only one reversing light

Also check that, with front wipers on intermitent, the rear wiper should automatically activate when put into reverse. Neat feature that had me baffled until the correlation became clear this weekend! Thought it was just sporadic, or I'd knocked the stalk while steering
