Go one page back on that forum and you will see why I did it! There were pictures of this white Yeti proudly displaying its winter wheels without any caps on to protect the hub and nuts. I thought what the heck, lets show them how it is done since they do seem to like their DIY projects on that forum, eg.: http://briskoda.net/...-diy-additions/

The very first comment? "So British". Bless. They really don't care in France what their cars look like. One and all it seems, in winter, they just slap some steel wheels on without centre caps or full covers and "travail fait"!

I can see why they don't care about their cars, specially around paris.

I would only want an old banger if I had to drive round the arc de triomphe every day.
