What size is the top strut bolt on the front struts? Number 10 in this diagram:

I'm looking to buy a swan neck spanner set and need to make sure it's included!

eerm, No. 10 is a nut not a bolt!

22mm

Ah a debate!

Well I've order a 6-32mm swan neck kit so I should be covered!

100% definate 21mm as i changed my front shocks last teusday.

Gna say 21 too

:)

I stand corrected, don't often read the size as I have a special socket that has a side removed just for the job, you can still get an Allen key in if required.

I think that its something that us DIYers just need to be aware of and live with - what I'm talking about is the fact that lots of car manufacturers do use some "non preferred" sizes - ie not always the sizes that DIY tool sellers include in their "sets". I've always used a hex spark plug socket for that nut, or, a socket from one of these "drive through" socket sets (Christmas present) - but I noticed that Laser Tools sells a set of "difficult situation" - or something like that sockets!

Its ze germans.... Use funny sizes

Pg and stuff

My jap suzukis good as its mostly metric, 6/8/10/13/17/19's about all you need :)
