Since i had my induction kit and rage bac box fitted, it has gained me 15 bhp from the 57i and 7 bhp from the zorst - so mine should do low 3's to 60 low 5's to 100 low 9's 1/4 mile and about 170.

(that is a 1.2 BTW)

The 1.9l as used in the Fabia vRS,Octavia, Superb, most other VAG cars and the newer 2.0l are based on the same engine. The main difference is the 2.0l has 16v and has 10 more bhp (I know theres more, but i can't remeber or be bothered to find out the rest). The differences in the driving would be more down to the suspension set up rather than weight as VAG claim similar figures for each car that uses the 130bhp 1.9pd engine.
