I took this 2nd December 2010 when the snow first hit the UK.

Some Snow there mate, hard to believe it was here in the UK.

Yup, and it all fell over not so sunny Sussex

The snow was beautiful to look at, but after it's been walked on and driven on, turns to use, and thats not so nice.

Kitten and I stayed in for 5 days, and on the 6th day we ventured to Sainsbury's as we were running low on supplies. We managed to get down off the hill we live on top of, but getting back up was a BIG challenge as at that time we had my Honda Accord Tourer, and not the Yeti.

As we got near the top we had to 'dig the ice away' with shovels, and we were SURE that the GITS on the houses either side of the road just watched us behind their net curtains

We did all the hard work, and they reaped the benefits as, as I looked out the window they all got their cars out .

What selfish arseholes

Lets hope we don't get another winter like that, even if we are well prepared for it.

Don't suppose you've a higher res version of that do you?

Ideally 1400-900ish or bigger please for use as a laptop background? (Although bigger is fine!)
