Hi all,

Passat owner at the moment but about to buy Superb Hatchback.

Would welcome input from fellow members as to which one to buy. Have had Passats since 1996 and am on my third. I bought a Passat because I have spine/back problems and the Passat's firm seating seemed to help. Each new model I bought seemed to have poorer seating than it's predecessor so feel it is time for a change.

Was fortunate enough to have a Superb Elegance Estate for a weekend to try and was most impressed. However, I don't really need an estate and understand that the hatchback has slightly softer suspension which might be better for me.

Thinking of getting a Superb Elegance Hatchback with either 140 (and chipping/remapping)or 170 TDi engine, Manual Gearbox, maybe one year old. Quite fancy Rosso Brunello as a colour and the Elegance will give me heated leather seats with plenty of adjustment.

Out for a test drive later today so will see how I go on but would welcome any advice or recommendations regarding the above, where to buy, dealer support etc.
