Hello people,

I've got an octavia on an o5 plate and when it get really cold outside 4 degrees and lower my brake light come on whilst the car is unatended.

Any pointers would be greatly appreciated.

There have been a number of threads on this in the past.

Some Octavia's were fitted with a dodgy batch of brake light switches located above the brake pedal somewhere.

I would fix this ASAP as it will flatten the battety in no time.

I can't find the exact thread, there was one that explained how to remove and replace the switch.
