Radiator Fan wont stop when car is cold

Featured Replies

Hi I have a problem with an 09 Skoda Octavia, when the car is cold the radiator fan keeps on running to the battery is dead, technically the car is still under warranty only done 44K miles on it so I have put it back to the dealer, but he did ask if I drove into any puddles, seriously ! I live in Scotland it rains here 300 days of the year.

Any way it seems to only happen when I use the car 1 week out of every two and then at weekends at first I thought dampness and removed the 30 amp fuse to try and stop the battery drain but today it came on again without the fuse which is starting to annoy me.

I have heard water in the ECU and the temperature sensor corroded so any one have any hard facts or has this happened before?
