Columbus problem with POI's

Featured Replies

I have a problem with my new Columbus system in that all references to POI's have been greyed out and I cannot find a way of opening them to enable me to input speed camera information which I have downloaded onto an SD card.

If anybody has any ideas how to resolve this problem I would be much appreciative.

if they are greyed out, all of them that is on the columbus then there is only one reason.

Your Columbus has the latest firmware, however the dealer has loaded an old version of the maps which is not fully supported by the latest firmware. The new firmware requires maps of at least version 7.1, so if they loaded 7.0 you will get no POIs. The file format changed between 7.0 and 7.1, so whilst you can use new maps on old firmware you must use 7.1 or later on the latest.

7333 is V7.0, so this is your problem.

7555 is V7.2

The maps are dealer loaded at PDI, and not pre-installed at the factory.
