Hi all i bought the above unit to enable me to use my i pod in my y reg fabia 1.4 estate ,i get power but no sound the original skoda stereo had the same problem so im guessing there is another issue with the audio system but what i can`t say ? hopefully someone here will point me in the right direction.

If i am not mistaken, sometimes you need to switch the connectors around? As I said, maybe mistaken.

hi thanks for the reply :) what connectors exactly the brown and blue or do you mean individual wires ?

Well on my car (octy) there are two wiring harnesses that go into the original stereo. One powers the stereo and one powers the cd changer in the rear. I have mine around the wrong way and because my HE is such a pain to get in, it has been left. But because it is connected the wrong way around I don't get a constant live so you maybe experiencing the same thing?
