ABS and Power Steering Lights

Featured Replies

I have a Skoda Octavia 2.0 TDi on a 55 plate. Recently the car went in for an MOT and servicing with a local garage with just the ABS light remaining on. The car had a rear sensor and ABS ring replaced on the back and the car passed the MOT.

The next day, I drove the car a couple of miles and then the ABS light and TCS light came on (Orange) followed by the Power Steering Light (RED) and the speedo stopped working followed by a beep, beep, beep. The car didn't shut down, although the power steering stopped working.

Took it back to the garage, but they couldn't sort it.

Could anyone help me diagnose the problem, is it a Steering Coloum Sensor or am I looking at a new ABS box!!!! I am not a mechanic so am just guessing.

Cheers Steve

Teves MK60 fault maybe? I'm sure someone on here will be able to confirm if it is?

Without a fault code read out its pretty difficult to say, could well be a faulty ABS control unit though.

Have u checked the belt? Is the battery ok?
