Hello, this is my very first post so be patient!! At the end of November I ordered a lovely new Superb Elegance Hatch (1.7 Diesel DSG) in Black (wanted red but they said the wait was longer) with Ivory Leather and black carpets.... I have a couple of queries. I live in France (would have preferred to buy one here but they do not sell the Superb in Diesel Auto so ordered from a very nice man in Skoda, Watford) - does the Sat Nav come with Northern European maps?... Also, I was quoted 11 - 13 weeks delivery. This I anticipate to being anytime towards the end of January. What is the likliehood of it being on time? Many thanks and looking forward to trawling the forum for lots of info...

I believe the delivery times are really dependent on specificaition, whether it is a 4x4 and the choice of engine (diesel or petrol). I originally ordered a Diesel 4x4 in July only to be given a March 2012 delivery estimate. When changing to a petrol on 1st October, the build date was brought forward to December and last week they confirmed a wk 1 2012 build which says I should get the car early February. I ordered many extras, but if you have managed to avoid ticking too many options your delivery date may be a tad optimistic but not inconceivable that they could build in that time - I was told to add 4 weeks from build to delivery.

Having owned a Superb (170CR DSG Hatch) since March 2009 you will not regret the wait.
