Auto Levelling Xenons

Featured Replies

I'll start this by stating that the answer is probably "take it to a dealer", but here goes: -

Over the weekend we drove down to Cornwall in my Superb estate. Fully-laden we had 2 dogs & the pressies in the boot, 3 kids in the back & a roof box with the rest of the kit.

As soon as we got on to an unlit road it was obvious that the head lights were 'over active' in their attempt to self level. The slightest bump in the road caused the lights to 'jump' and shoot skywards thereby dazzling oncoming drivers.

I should add that I had the lights re-adjusted by the main dealer in Cardiff recently, but don't think that this is related.

Seems to me that either the software is over reacting, or that there's a problem with the ballast system.

Has anyone else suffered this problem & what was the cure?

Thanks.

Prob weren't adjusted properly.

Has to be done with diagnostic machine and the new control position saved of they bounce everywhere.
