Double din fitiment?

Featured Replies

Depends on what car you intend to fit it into... give us a clue and we can help you more.

DIN is a std size so is Double DIN, newer VAG cars are not true Double DIN as they use tapered fascias

as said it would help to know the vehicle, but there are some that have specific fitments for VAG look this one up on ebay "es878" this is what I have in mine. Though you will need an antenna adapter (pc5-157) as well as a can-bus adapter.

whoops thought id put it is a mk1 octavia

Any Double Din will fit, as said it's a standard size. You will need a fitting kit for the Octavia and probably need to do some cutting to the back to make it all fit.

Loads of people have had or have similar units fitted.

One trick when fitting them is to remove the glovebox so you can physically move the wires to the head unit to enable it to sit flush (not a lot of room at the rear.

Depending on your location (UK?) don't forget anything coming from outside the EU is liable for import duty etc
