just wondering if the wiper stalk and stuff Is the same on the skoda as they are on the Ibiza mk4

been having a problem with mine were my wipers have devolved a huge mind of there own, of I press the stalk down once every now and again they will keep wiping so il spray the washer and they will stop, told they carried on wiping even after I tuned them off at the stalk and then carried on after I took the keys out of the car and when I took the fuse out, stopped after about 10 mins, what could cause this

will vagcom find a fault for this or has anyone on here had this problem

Your car based on the latest small Vw, Fabia I&II are on the previous one. The stalk might be the same. I think, vag-com will give you the answer, the stalk could be faulty, messing your ccm's mind up.

it's only a 03 plate not a brand new one, thought it was the same as the mk1 fabia and polo n3 :S il get it checked out cheers for the help

Mk4 Ibiza doesn't use the same stalks as the Fabia 1, ours are separate the Ibiza ones like the 9N Polo are combined with the indicator stalk.

Sounds like a good excuse to fit cruise control while you at it

Hold on! That must be Mk3(or at least the previous shape)! Sorry for that! You are right, same platform, same stalk. I suspect the stalk itself or the wiring causing the misbehaving. Only a guess, I have never encountered this type of problem. Hope you'll get sorted soon!

MK4 Ibiza stalks, also fit Fabia 2
